Dr. Mary Gardner – Our Founder
Founder & CEO
Dr. Mary Gardner is a veterinarian with a passion for end-of-life care for pets. As the co-founder of Lap of Love, a nationwide network providing in-home hospice and euthanasia services, Dr. Gardner has dedicated her career to ensuring pets receive compassionate care during their final stages of life. Her experience and commitment to honoring the human-animal bond led to the establishment of Monarch Pet Memorial Services, where she continues to advocate for respectful and personalized pet aftercare. She is an international speaker on geriatrics, hospice and end of life care.

Allan Gardner – COO
Chief Operating Officer
Allan Gardner, big brother of Dr. Mary Gardner, joined Mary in starting Monarch with a shared vision of providing dignified pet cremation services. His dedication to operational excellence and compassionate service ensures that every pet and family receives the utmost care during their time of need. Allan Gardner is the father of 2 humans and one dog (many in heaven watching over him).

Christine is dedicated to building strong, genuine connections with veterinary teams across South Florida. With a deep appreciation for the care veterinarians provide, she partners closely with hospitals to ensure Monarch is a trusted extension of their practice. Her goal is to make every interaction seamless, compassionate, and tailored to the unique needs of each clinic.

Practice Manager
Whitney brings a deep understanding of every role at Monarch, having trained hands-on across all departments—from client care and engraving to driving routes and processing. With a sharp eye for operations and a heart for our mission, she leads our team with clarity, compassion, and a commitment to detail.
